HOW TO BOND WITH A DOG

Dogs are considered to be one of the most intelligent animals and the friendliest animals which can be domesticated. Creating a strong and long-lasting relationship with your dog requires a lot of  your time and patience. You can't bond with your dog if you keep on screaming at him/her or if you don't give them your time. The bonding process will be gradual but once it will start getting stronger, believe me, it would an experience of a lifetime.  Here are some tips to create a long- lasting and powerful bond with your pooch :

1) REMAIN CALM - Just imagine that your pup has created an undesirable mess and you suffer from OCD as well as Germaphobia and you can't really tolerate any untidiness in your surroundings. Your first is mostly likely to be a punishment or even a beating. Just don't do that. It has been scientifically proven that pets who have to bear punishment from their owners are more likely to be scared of them and stay away from them.

2) FEED YOUR POOCH -  We know what they say, "Feed an animal for a day and it'll remember you for a lifetime". If you use this piece of advice in your practical life, chances are you will succeed.

3) PLAY WITH  THEM - One of the most successful ways of bonding with any animal is to play with them. For example, if you happen to have a dog, you can try games like ball-throwing, the typical chasing game, hide and seek etc. The feeling of excitement they'll have during that period of time will be unmatched and they will be extremely delighted to own you as a hooman (those who are dog parents will understand).

4) UNDERSTAND THEIR VOCALISATIONS - Try to understand that what your dog is trying to say. For instance, excessive barking might be a sign that your pooch is seeking for attention. Chances are that you just don't shower them with the amount of love and attention that they require. Those who own toy breeds (small dogs) like Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu, Chihuahua etc will have to face excessive tantrums and we know because we also have experience with dogs like Lhasa Apso.

5) PET YOUR DOG - Yes, petting your dog and increasing physical contact with that little buddy can do wonders for both of you guys. Anonymous researchers prove that physical contact with your dog such as grooming and petting lowers the stress in shelter dogs that is measured by reductions in both heart rates and stress hormone cortisol as well increase the anti-stress hormone oxytocin.

Bonding with your dog is all about sharing your love with them and sharing your love multiplies it making your relationship even more stronger with them. Try to understand them and believe me, you will have the most blissful and priceless relationship for a lifetime.
