MY JOURNEY WITH PETS (part 2)

The heartbreaking and tragic incident of Bruno crossing the Rainbow Bridge was overwhelmingly burdening for us because not only was he the first pet that my father and I had tamed but also we became inseparable (especially my father) during the difficult months of the first wave the pandemic. Seeing that we had the potential to eventually disintegrate as a family, my parents made a bewildering decision of welcoming another furry friend into the family. However, this time we considered getting a dog instead of getting a rabbit or a fish for they had a comparatively better lifespan. We had multiple options to choose from including multiple dog breeds ranging from Labrador to Beagle just to name a few. However, every dog breed that we investigated about had their own drawbacks which restrained them from being the healthy furbaby that our family desparately was in need of at that point of time.  I’m forever thankful to my maternal uncle and aunt who although were staying in Lucknow at ...

MY JOURNEY WITH PETS (part 1)

The concept of owning an animal has always intrigued me. Perhaps it is because my mother had a pet dog named Bruno, but he passed away when I was too young to remember anything about him. But my parents (particularly my father) were not pet lovers. Throughout my life, I actually have tamed many fishes although I turned into now not very satisfied with taming them because of their constrained lifespan. When you own a pet, you develop attached to it. This makes it an inseparable member of your family. Losing it seems like announcing goodbye to a part of you. It is for that reason many human beings no longer need to hold every other pet after the loss of one. They are incapable of managing the grief of dropping a liked pet.  Two years ago, on one sunny day, we were returning home from Chandni Chowk, and we spotted a wholesaler with a cage of rabbits. After checking it out with my mother, we decided to buy a rabbit. In the end, we selected two of them: one brown and one black. H...

HOW TO BOND WITH A DOG

Dogs are considered to be one of the most intelligent animals and the friendliest animals which can be domesticated. Creating a strong and long-lasting relationship with your dog requires a lot of  your time and patience. You can't bond with your dog if you keep on screaming at him/her or if you don't give them your time. The bonding process will be gradual but once it will start getting stronger, believe me, it would an experience of a lifetime.   Here are some tips to create a long- lasting and powerful bond with your pooch : 1) REMAIN CALM - Just imagine that your pup has created an undesirable mess and you suffer from OCD as well as Germaphobia and you can't really tolerate any untidiness in your surroundings. Your first is mostly likely to be a punishment or even a beating. Just don't do that. It has been scientifically proven that pets who have to bear punishment from their owners are more likely to be scared of them and stay away from them. 2) FEED YOUR ...

REINCARNATION OF PETS

That dog looks familiar to Tommy. This cat behaves like Stella.  All of us who had previously lost a pet and have got a new one might have experienced this once in life. And there may be chances that they would have drawn such comparisons. But sometimes has there been cases where your current pet resembles your departed pet either physically, habitually or behaviorally.   Some animal psychics believe that animal reincarnation is a real thing. Also animal communicator Brent Atwater  believes that animals are ready to make their transition  from    earthly to spiritual energy, they will know 24 to 48 hours in  hours in advance. And ten days to two weeks before, they'll give their owner a sign - a memory moment. It is a common thing for pets to themselves from the owners in order to separate their energy to make it easier for the owner to cope   with the grief. There may be chances that they might do som...
